All images are printed on archival watercolor paper, canvas, or photographic paper using archival inks guaranteed for 200 years.
Each surface reacts to the ink differently. On watercolor paper the ink saturates the surface creating a pastel like finish. On canvas, the ink sits on the surface that makes the image appear more like an oil painting. Canvas prints are sprayed with a protective UV coating after the ink has dried. Photographic paper the finish is of a tradition color print.
The frame plays a vital role in the finished presentation of any piece of fine art. How you choose to frame your image can really enhance the way it looks.
When framing watercolor prints I would suggest a conventional frame with matt and glass. With canvas, I prefer to frame them as you would a painting, stretched and without glass. Another option is to face mount a print on plexiglass. For this method you can use only photographic prints.
